About the archive

A puzzle never changes once its day has come: the 16 players and four groups of every past day are recorded, so a replay is the same puzzle everyone played. Your own result for each day stays in your browser. A new puzzle comes out at midnight UTC.

Can a data update change an old answer?

No. Published puzzles are kept exactly as they were. Each build re-checks every recorded puzzle against the latest data files; puzzles that have not been published yet are redrawn if new data would make one ambiguous.
