Questions

Which two NBA teams share the most players?

The Hawks and the Pistons, with 99 players who played for both since 1946. The full ranking is in the list above.

What counts as playing for a team?

A season with that franchise in the player's Wikipedia infobox (BAA and NBA seasons; ABA seasons do not count). Old names and cities count for today's franchise: Seattle SuperSonics seasons are Thunder seasons, New Jersey Nets seasons are Brooklyn Nets seasons.

How do these lists help with the NBA Grid?

Each NBA Grid square asks for a player who played for two teams. The list for that pair has every valid answer, most seasons with the two teams first.
